This inline fuel pump is suitable for universal use, especially as a replacement for classic cars with 6-volt electrical systems.

This fuel pump operates with a rotary vane pump mechanism.

Fuel flows freely through this flow pump without flaps or valves.

Therefore, when stationary, fuel could flow back through the fuel pump.

You can prevent this by installing a non-return valve from our range.

The fuel pump is not dry self-priming.

Therefore, it should always be installed below the liquid level in the fuel tank.

If this 6-volt fuel pump is used in a classic car as a replacement for the mechanical fuel pump, the installation of a safety relay is recommended.

This relay switches off the electric fuel pump so that it does not continue to run when the ignition is switched on and the engine is off.

The relay is not part of the 6-volt classic car fuel pump.

We cannot supply this relay.
