This electric water circulation pump has two connections for 19 mm ID cooling water hoses.

Inside the electric 12 volt water pump, a rotor with magnetic drive operates.

The function of the pump is to prevent local overheating in the engine after it has been switched off hot.

As a run-on pump, also known as V50 or V51 in the VW Bus T4, it pumps

the water from the cooling circuit here.

The electric auxiliary water pump promotes water in the heating circuit in the VW T4 Bus, in the version with

water parking heater.

When used here, the auxiliary water pump is designated V 55.

In all cases, it is the same pump.
