Why should you use exactly this SparkSafe clamp?

About 80% of all electrostatic ignitions are due to ungrounded conductive objects, e.g. drums during filling and emptying.

To avoid these ignitions, reliable and easy-to-handle grounding clamps are necessary.

Sometimes the grounding clamp is not applied in time, so that the container is already electrostatically charged and then a ignitable spark is generated when the grounding clamp approaches.

Here, the SparkSafe grounding clamp, made of conductive plastic, offers a decisive advantage* over conventional grounding clamps, as its high resistance significantly reduces the spark energy.

On the other hand, the resistance is low enough to safely dissipate electrostatic charges.
