Side channel pump with 230 Volt, max. 40 l/min and reversible direction of rotation.

The special feature of this pump is the controllable manual bypass. The liter output can be continuously adjusted from 25 to 40 l/min.

Due to its functional principle, the side channel pump is dry-running safe and also offers the possibility of reversing the direction of rotation.

This means it can suction and discharge without changing hoses.

The switch for this is embedded in the electrical housing and allows for easy operation.

The side channel pump must be filled once with the medium to be pumped; then it is continuously self-priming, as liquid always remains in the pump.

Since this side channel pump operates with a bypass, this valve must be closed when filling the pump for the first time.

If the height difference between the pump axis and the liquid level is more than 3 meters, the use of a check valve is recommended.

This also applies if a long horizontal distance has to be overcome.

Optionally to the pump, you will receive the shown mounting plate for all red side channel pumps.

This frame facilitates the use of mobile pumps and provides adequate support for the pump with attached hoses in stationary operation.

The pump type offers further constructive advantages:

suction of air is possible without damage to the impellers
no contact between medium and motor
low speed at high liter output

This pump is suitable, for example, for transferring olive oil into various tanks.

Further applications include operation in the filtration of wine and beer, or the transfer of lubricating oils, soaps and water.

The media to be pumped must not contain abrasive substances. In this case, the pump must be equipped with a suitable filter.

The viscosity must not exceed max. 30 mm²/s.

The medium temperature must be below 36 °C.
