Special features of this pump are the low pressure and low speed.

This allows for gentle filtration - pumping of high-quality food products.

The filter's capacity consists of 10 plastic support plates for 10 filter layers. At least 2 filter layers with 3 plates are required for operation.

The required original filter papers are available from us under the "Filters - Layer Filters/Wine Pump" section in various filter finenesses.

The wine filter system is assembled ready for operation. You only need to install your suction hose and pressure hose.

The suitable food-grade silicone hose with 10 mm inner diameter and 3 mm wall thickness can be found under the "Hoses/Food Products" button.

The strong wall thickness of 3 mm prevents the silicone hose from kinking on the 10 mm hose nozzle.

The hose holds without clamps on the conical hose nozzles.

To avoid a possible loosening during the filtering process, it is advisable to use our 14 mm hose clamps.

Of course, the pump can also be used alone, without the filter, for transferring liquids. For example, for transferring fruit juice into different tanks.

Due to its construction, the pump is dry-run safe.

The side channel pump must be filled once with the medium to be pumped, then it is permanently self-priming, as liquid always remains in the pump.

The pump type offers further constructive advantages:

suction of air is possible without damage to the impellers
escape of the medium is prevented
there is no contact between medium and motor
low speed with high liter output

Other possible applications include operation in the filtration of wine, beer, spirits or fruit juices.

The illustrated food-grade hose with 10 mm inner diameter is optionally available.

The media to be pumped must not contain abrasive substances.

In this case, the pump must be equipped with a suitable pre-filter.

The viscosity must not be higher than max. 30 mm²/s.

The medium temperature must be below 36 °C.
