Side channel pump with 230 volts, max. 83 l/min and reversible rotation direction.

The special feature of this pump is its ability to pump liquids up to a maximum temperature of 95 ° C in continuous operation.

The SK-230-83-VA-Viton-B must not be used for hot water circulation in domestic heating systems. The pump is not considered a hot water circulation pump.

The side channel pump is safe from dry running due to its operating principle and also offers the possibility of reversing the direction of rotation.

So it can vacuum and press without changing the hoses.

The switch is embedded in the electrical housing and allows for easy operation.

The side channel pump must be filled once with the medium to be pumped; then it is permanently self-priming, as liquid always remains in the pump.

If the height difference between the pump axis and the liquid level is more than 3 meters, the use of a check valve is recommended.

This also applies if a long horizontal distance has to be overcome.

Optionally to the pump, you can get the mounting plate shown for all red side channel pumps.

This frame facilitates the use of mobile pumps and provides appropriate support for the pump with attached hoses during stationary operation.

This pump type offers further design advantages:

the intake of air is possible without damage to the wings
there is no contact between medium and motor
low speed with high liter power

One possible application is as a wort pump in the production of home-brewed beer. It can also be used in other processes where hot liquid needs to be transferred.

Approved media:

Water, wort, wine, must, beer, vinegar, food, vegetable oil, soaps and stainless steel/brass/Viton compatible liquids

The media to be pumped must not contain any abrasive substances or impurities.

The viscosity must not be higher than max. 30 mm²/s.

The medium temperature must be below 95 ° C.
