The pictures are from BAUMA 2013 in Munich.
There, the company Dynavis had an exhibition stand where they offered a hydraulic oil with additives.
To visually demonstrate the superior performance of this oil compared to a standard hydraulic oil to the public, two bicycles were set up.
These bicycles were modified by the company Form Acryl.
They were equipped with a chain drive, each powering a Teflon-coated impeller pump.
The construction was housed in an acrylic glass casing to protect visitors on the one hand and to make the technology visible on the other.
By pedaling, visitors to the exhibition would pump the oil into the acrylic glass cylinder mounted on the oil drums.
The oil mixed with Dynavis was pumped into the cylinder faster at the same rotational speed than the standard hydraulic oil.
The advantages shown here can minimize diesel costs for machines operated with Dynavis oil and simultaneously lead to better hydraulic performance.
Further information about the manufacturer and a test report in Baumagazin can be found by clicking on the link.
To minimize the breakaway torque of the impeller pump and enable its drive with a sprocket, this pump was supplied by us in a special version.
The pump head touched by the impeller is Teflon-coated. The drive shaft bearing has been fitted with two ball bearings.
The special version can also pump water. Such pumps are used with water, for example, in amusement parks, as hand-operated water cannons for children.
You will certainly find other applications for these special impeller pumps. Contact us, we will be happy to advise you.
