Some of our customers are sailors, so today we are introducing a steel cruising yacht.
The ship's name is SKYE.
It is a Brasser 28, built in 1977.
The manufacturer is Yachtwerf Saaman b.v. Appingendam/NL.
The designer was Robbert Das.
The yacht is a long-keeled chine hull double-ender.
The rig is designed as a high-aspect gaff cutter.
The sails include a mainsail, a self-tacking jib, and a furling genoa.
Matching the ship type, these are all in traditional sailor red.
If there's a calm, a 27 hp Lombardini inboard diesel powers the ship.
And that's exactly where Pumpen Peters comes in.
We supply new fuel hoses, ball valves, hose connectors, hose nozzles, and hose clamps for the trouble-free operation of the engine.
The owner describes his ship as follows:
"Great, good-natured, and proven cruising yacht that feels really comfortable from 4-5 Bft, has significant headroom below deck, and also offers plenty of space for safe work on deck."
The photos are from last year and were taken in Travemünde.
