We've just received pictures from a customer in Switzerland.
He owns a Ferrari called Il Gobbone (The Hunchback), one of 500 built.
He replaced the two fuel pumps on his Ferrari 365 GTC 4.
Two Facet 47608 fuel pumps are used, plumbed in parallel.
The customer reports that the original spare parts book shows the same type number for the "Bendix" pump originally used.
As can be seen in the picture, the two pumps are mounted behind the differential, between the two side fuel tanks, under the trunk floor.
The car is from 1973 and has been owned by the driver since 1981.
The 12-cylinder engine is in its original, unrestored condition.
The odometer now shows 95,000 km.
Engine: 12 cylinders, 4.39 l displacement, 340 hp, 4 overhead camshafts
Transmission: 5 + R gears
Weight: approx. 1450 kg
Wheelbase: 255 cm
Length: 457 cm
Width: 178 cm
Height: 127 cm
Top speed: approx. 260 km/h
