Porsche 924 Youngtimer Trophy Klasse 4 mit Benzindruckregler und Benzindruckanzeige

Today an article on the topic of motorsport with classic cars.

As you can see from the photo, it is a Porsche 924.

This model has a 2-liter four-cylinder engine with approximately 165 hp.

The Porsche 924 was built for Group 4 in the Youngtimer Trophy.

It has a fuel pressure regulator with a built-in filter element.

In order to really be in the picture, a display instrument for the fuel pressure was also installed.

In order to tap the petrol pressure, a brass T piece with three hose fittings was looped into the pressure line after the petrol pressure regulator.

Pumpen Peters offers this T piece as a set .

The small outlet with the 4 mm inner diameter PA hose leads to the glycerin filled manometer.

In the photos you can see the fuel pressure gauge in the third photo bottom left, next to the sports steering wheel.

The white-backed pressure gauge has a finely graduated display range from 0 to 1 bar.

This allows the pressure in the fuel system to be clearly measured.

This is used, for example, to adjust the pressure values when using a Filter King, Petrol King, Pro Flow, or other pressure regulators.

This process is especially important when using carburetor systems.

We have this instrument manufactured for us in this version by a German manufacturer in small series.
