Here we show the first application of one of our pumps outside the automotive sector.
Nevertheless, this application also has something to do with mobility.
Specifically, with mobile event tents of a special kind.

These tents are anchored to solid ground using ballast hoses, which are hidden inside the shell.
This is where our side channel pump for water transfer comes into play.
These hoses need to be filled and emptied quickly.
Due to its design, the side channel pump is dry-run safe and also offers the option of reversing the direction of rotation.
This means it can suck and push without changing hoses.
The switch for this is embedded in the electrical housing, allowing for easy operation.
Since the water used sometimes comes from rivers or lakes, the pump is operated with a dirt filter.
The manufacturer of these artworks is located on the coast between Eckernförde and Kiel in Schinkel.

Gyroplanes - AutoGyro Awarded 2011 "TOP 100" Award for Germany's Most Innovative SMEs
On Monday, July 4, 2011, the company AutoGyro in Rostock was awarded the "TOP 100" seal of approval as one of Germany's 100 most innovative SMEs.
This award is a great honor for the gyroplane manufacturer, as it represents all the attributes for which the AutoGyro team works daily: creativity, innovation, and technology.
The best 100 companies bear the seal of approval for one year.
The owner and founder of AutoGyro, Otmar Birkner, accepted the Top 100 award on behalf of his entire team:

VW Beetle 1303 S with Facet fuel pump and Petrol King fuel pressure regulator
Here we present a lightly tuned VW Beetle 1303 S.
The Volkswagen 1303 series was built between 1972 and 1975. This model was manufactured in 1973.
The owner from Lübeck had a Facet fuel pump and a Petrol King fuel pressure regulator installed to operate the EMPI dual carburetor system.
This version of the fuel pressure regulator is designed exclusively for carburetor models.
The fuel pressure regulator prevents pulsation of the flow generated by the fuel pump.
The formation of air bubbles in the fuel is avoided.
For setting the fuel pressure, a glycerin-filled manometer in stainless steel with a pressure range of 0-1 bar is used.

Ruhr University Bochum, Sheet Metal Forming in the Roboforming Process with Gear Pumps for Lubricating Oil Supply
The Ruhr University Bochum is participating in the project "Research for the production of tomorrow", which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The Chair of Production Systems, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, provides an insight into robot-based sheet metal forming of complex components.
The process principle includes the following points:
- complete elimination of geometry-specific tools
- two simple, synchronized tools with six degrees of freedom
- double-sided processing of the sheet metal
- rigid sheet clamping
- large working area due to industrial robots
- inexpensive production of small quantities
The Roboforming process has already won awards.
For example, the "Euroblech Award 2008" in the forming technology category.
The Roboforming demonstration plant was presented there by Dieffenbacher.
The company Pumpen Peters und Zubehör supplied several gear pumps for lubricating oil delivery, matching hoses
and filters for this project.
Another partner of Ruhr University Bochum is the robot manufacturer Kuka.
