Bicycle powers pump for oil extraction

The pictures are from BAUMA 2013 in Munich.

There, the company Dynavis had an exhibition stand where they offered a hydraulic oil with additives.

To visually demonstrate the superior performance of this oil compared to a standard hydraulic oil to the public, two bicycles were set up.

These bicycles were modified by the company Form Acryl.

They were equipped with a chain drive, each powering a Teflon-coated impeller pump.

The construction was housed in an acrylic glass casing to protect visitors on the one hand and to make the technology visible on the other.

By pedaling, visitors to the exhibition would pump the oil into the acrylic glass cylinder mounted on the oil drums.

The oil mixed with Dynavis was pumped into the cylinder faster at the same rotational speed than the standard hydraulic oil.

The advantages shown here can minimize diesel costs for machines operated with Dynavis oil and simultaneously lead to better hydraulic performance.

Further information about the manufacturer and a test report in Baumagazin can be found by clicking on the link.

To minimize the breakaway torque of the impeller pump and enable its drive with a sprocket, this pump was supplied by us in a special version.

The pump head touched by the impeller is Teflon-coated. The drive shaft bearing has been fitted with two ball bearings.

The special version can also pump water. Such pumps are used with water, for example, in amusement parks, as hand-operated water cannons for children.

You will certainly find other applications for these special impeller pumps. Contact us, we will be happy to advise you.

Zusatztank VW T5 4motion + 2WD, Diesel Umfüllpumpe mit Drehrichtungsumkehr und elektronischer Ansteuerung.

Auxiliary tank VW T5 4motion + 2WD, diesel transfer pump with reversible rotation and electronic control.

The Rosenheim-based company relleumdesign has made it its business to design and manufacture particularly high-quality additional parts for automotive long-distance travelers.

One product from this extensive range of offerings is an auxiliary diesel tank for the VW Bus T5 4motion.

Furthermore, tanks for the 2WD versions of the VW T5 are also produced. This also applies to all body variants, such as those of the flatbed.

The special feature of this conversion is that a second fuel filler neck does not have to be installed and the tank is not visible from the outside.

To make this possible, an electronically controlled gear pump with a remote control is used.

This 12-volt gear pump can be controlled from inside the vehicle using the intelligent display shown.

The original fuel level sensor of the VW T5 is integrated into the auxiliary tank.

The signal for the series display is switched in the instrument panel.

The additional tank capacity of the welded stainless steel tank is approximately 75 liters.

These are pumped from the original tank into the auxiliary tank within approximately 3 minutes by the 12-volt gear pump.

Of course, this process must also be able to run in reverse.

Using the pump's display, it is switched to reverse rotation.

For long-distance traveling VW T5 drivers and frequent drivers, fascinating ranges result.

Many customers find the one-tank solution very comfortable and elegant, because it is completely inconspicuous.

Further technical details about this 12-volt gear pump can be found in our

Hydraulic oil treatment with a 12 volt gear pump

Here we show you a mobile unit for processing small quantities of hydraulic oil.

The user tests transmissions that operate in various tanks containing hydraulic oil.

This hydraulic oil should now be able to be cleaned and reused.

Since the quantities only range between 1 and a maximum of 50 liters per tank, our large 50 l/min system was ruled out.

The main component of the portable 12/24 Volt cleaning system is a multi-volt gear pump 12/24 and its electronic control.

The hydraulic oil filter with filter head filters the used hydraulic oil to 10 microns and is located in the system on the pressure side of the pump.

This guarantees that only cleaned hydraulic oil comes out of the hose and no possible abrasion from the pump.

The pump, automatically controlled by the electronic display, empties the tanks and then switches off.

The small cleaning system was mounted on a universal carrying frame for pumps from our product range.

After pumping, the two hoses from the suction and pressure side are simply inserted into the hoses attached to the holder.

This keeps the unit clean and the hoses drip the residual oil there.

Brass hose connectors for creating your own reductions

We would like to show you possible solutions for problems when connecting hoses.

We often receive calls from you with questions such as the following:

"I need a T-piece hose connector with three different connection sizes for the fuel hose."

"We are looking for an adapter to measure the fuel pressure of the gasoline pump in the pressure line."

"I have been looking forever for a 90-degree metal hose connector; the plastic ones always break at low temperatures."

"My classic car doesn't have a coolant temperature gauge and I want to splice a sender into the 12 mm coolant hose."

"The two fuel pumps don't deliver enough power; I can't find a Y-hose connector with a 90-degree connection."

The list could be extended indefinitely.

With our range of customizable metal hose connectors, you can now help yourself.

The basis is always a brass base piece.

We supply these with three or four internal threads. In block or Y-shaped design.

With the help of our large selection of hose nozzles, reducing nipples, double nipples, sockets, and blanking plugs, it should be possible to assemble your personal hose connector.

The photos are for illustrative purposes only.

Of course, other brass hose connector options can also be assembled.

Tip: Always use a drop of thread sealant, even on conical hose nozzles.

Alte Opel Hecktriebler mit neuen Teilen versorgen.

Supplying new parts for old rear-wheel-drive Opels.

"They still exist, the good things."

The advertising slogan of a well-known company from our vicinity, which, however, has nothing to do with cars.

But this slogan also applies to the company Edelschmiede Emern.

The owner, Thomas Nastke, also wants to make his customers happy with rare, selected pieces.

These customers are all fans of old rear-wheel-drive Opels.

In the online shop for rear-wheel-drive Opels, they receive new and custom-made products for their darlings.

We are also allowed to contribute to conjuring up happy faces and deliver small parts to the company, which is located near Uelzen.

Of course, in such a blog post, one of the owner's cars must also be shown.

An Opel Ascona B.

As the first impression of the pictures conveys, it is a tuned vehicle.

The car was fitted with an Irmscher Senator 4.0i C40SE 200KW / 272PS engine.

This roars out of a stainless steel exhaust system with Ø 2x60mm.

To brake the rear-wheel-drive car again, internally ventilated brake discs measuring 300x32mm are installed at the front, which are gripped by Wilwood Dynalite II 4-piston aluminum brake calipers.

At the rear, the original brake of the Irmscher Senator 4.0i with 270x10mm discs and 2-piston (Ø 40mm) fixed calipers does its job.

Bilstein B6 sport shock absorbers are installed all around, with the shortened version at the front.

The green monster stands on Dunlop 215/45 ZR 15 84W tires, which are mounted on Ronal 8 x 15 ET23.
